Pawnbrokers are heavily regulated by Ohio State law and work hand in hand
with local police departments to keep stolen merchandise out of their shops and also
in returning stolen items back to their rightful owner.
Did You Know?
All customers must provide identification when pawning or selling an item.
We also record a description of the items the customers bring. These transaction
records are then transmitted to law enforcement for aid in their investigations.
This severely reduces the likelihood that a thief would bring stolen merchandise
to a pawn store. It is rare, but it does happen. To help law enforcement in their
search, please give them the best description possible when making a police report.
What to do
Per Federal Law, we cannot disclose any information about our customers
or the transactions we handle with them. If you have been the victim of theft, please
call the Reynoldsburg police department at 614-866-6622, in order to make a report
and see if any of your items have been brought into our store.
